Television
Chief started out making network TV for the BBC and after a long time concentrating on commercials, we're doing it again. We're developing kids' drama, comedy formats and finding new talent. Check out what we're doing here.
The 370
Ainsley's Odyssey
Ainsley's Odyssey' was Chief's first ever TV production. It broke Ainsley Harriott out of the confines of BBC Pebble Mill and launched him as a roving TV chef. Great fun and happy memories.
The Rookie Diaries
Ben is a vaguely delusional twenty something who is convinced he can excel at absolutely anything he wants to. In this series of auteur styled films, he takes on challenges he is clearly not qualified for, such as entering The World One Man Band Championships, showing a dog at Krufts, Krumping and becoming a Stuntman.
The JD Set 2011
Jack Daniels and The Red Lodge Agency recently asked us to shoot the Manchester and Glasgow legs of The JD Set – a series of ad-funded music documentaries in which up-and-coming bands get the chance to jam with their heroes and cover tracks from seminal artists, including Madonna and The Buzzcocks. The shows were broadcast on Channel Four and NME, as well as being featured on the JD Set website.
Green Santa
In December 2010, we launched our first ever children's TV show, 'Mission: Green Santa'. Broadcast on CITV during the two weeks leading up to Christmas, it followed the exploits of Climatologist Maurice Bergs, as he campaigned to save Santa's melting runway from Global Warming. The show was supported by a website, where children could make green pledges to help Maurice and save Christmas for everyone.
Weird & Wonderful Hotels
A Chief and Sleepydog production, Weird & Wonderful Hotels is a fast-paced travel series that takes you to all the weirdest and most wonderful hotels on planet Earth. The shoot took us from the tree tops of Latin America to the bottom of a lake in Sweden...and every bizarre place in between. The show aired on NatGeo in territories all around the world.
